GroundStation was established by Damian Golding and Owen Butler in 2007 focused on building new websites for small business.
However, we soon found that what most people needed was help with their existing websites rather than building new ones. It is quite common for a business to invest in expensive websites only to be stuck with a site that no one visits and no ability to update it.
As a result, GroundStation became a website management company, solving website problems for business owners and allowing them to focus on what they do best.
We are different because we focus on longer term relationships with our clients. We work together to constantly improve the effectiveness of their digital assets.

What’s with all the space dishes?
Our business name and logo were inspired by a trip to the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (Tidbinbilla).
Standing among the trees in this beautiful and remote location, these dishes enable communication across vast distances allowing us to connect with people and resources around the world and beyond. Not too different to the Internet!
We also appreciate the “down-to-earth” and “no nonsense” approach of the people who maintain and operate this installation. We aspire to have the same values in our work.
These dishes remind us of the power of technology and human ingenuity, and inspire us to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
