How much does it cost to get a website designed and built with GroundStation?
We find that every client is different and requires a slightly different approach. For this reason we don't do fixed pricing for our services and quote on a case by case basis. Rest assured however, that there are no hidden costs or charges apart from what we agree upfront.
How long will it take to build a web site with GroundStation?
It doesn't take that long to build a website if you know exactly what you want before you start. In our experience however, this is rarely the case and deciding what is required is usually the most time consuming part of the process. How much time depends on the size and complexity of the website involved.
What happens after my website is finished and I want to change something?
If you host your website with us, we offer full web site maintenance services so that your online information is always up to date. How many changes you can make depends on what we agree at the start but even this can be altered at anytime.
Do I have to keep my website with you, or can I move it?
You may move your website to another web hosting service at any time but some of the site features may not work on other providers machines depending on their setup.
Will my website be Search Engine "friendly"?
All GroundStation websites are created to be Search Engine "friendly" but you need to remember that Search Engines often change the way they rank sites and you can't be guaranteed of a particular position.
Can I update my website easily once it is live?
Yes. All GroundStation web packages come with a content management system that allows you (or us) to change your content.
Will everyone see my web site the same way?
There are a number of different internet browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox,Safari), screen types and resolutions out there that mean you cannot be sure how your site will look on someone's screen. We always test our sites to make sure they look good on all the main browsers but we cannot guarantee that it will always look exactly the same.
Can GroundStation register a domain name for my company?
Yes. We can register domains on behalf of our clients as part of the service
Do I get an e-mail address with my website?
Yes, GroundStation can set you up with a new email service as part of you website package.
Who owns the website once it is completed?
The website belongs to you and we can provide a copy of the site code whenever you need it.
